PANCAKE - It reminds me of something that once happened.  I used to help my mom to make apam balik at kuih stall before I heading off to computer class in the afternoon when I was 17.  The moment when I walked into the class and sat beside my friend, he (Ming Teck) used to tease me and say “I could SMELL you coming miles away”.  It was the smell of Golden Barrel butter that I used to grease the pan, damn it!!  lol …

So I bought the pancake mix and decided to give it a try to make my own pancake.  Guess what?! It was dead easy and I guess the skill of making pancake is in my blood or something!  All you need to do is mix the flour with 250ml of water, and beat well.  Heat the non-stick pan, lightly grease the pan with olive oil or butter.  Then, start to fry your pancake.  The 1st pancake never right so just throw it away, and it is always like that.  For extra flavor you can serve it with banana, ice-cream, strawberry or a healthy sprinkling of cinnamon.

Bugger! I still couldn’t believe that I spent around $75++ at Paddington House of Pancakes, just for a supper.  It was all your fault Michelle Goh! lol… Do not order the signature sirloin steak pancake with peaches, it tastes funny and pricey. Well, it just my personal preference okay, you may try it if you want to.
